Subject: Bedway Oiling during Homing
Hi Tom,
Since we fitted shielded ribbon cable to JP6 I have had no more handwheel encoder problems.

We are on to some more fine tuning and need to change the saddle oiling system, which has been hooked up to activate when the spindle runs.
It is tending to over oil the bedways.

I would like to run it with the Homing sequence and see if that will give sufficient oil for the way we operate the machine.

I can't figure out how the SW numbers relate to Bit #s

I have the saddle oil pump relay connected to SW2 on JP8.
I need to activate it in Homing.c

How should I do that please.
A snippet of code to paste in would be nice. :)

Hi Ross,

That should be IO # 154

 SetBit(154);  // Kanalog FET Driver 2
 Delay_sec(2);
 ClearBit(154);

Thanks Tom,
That worked out perfectly, although I had to change the Bit# to 153. :)
Is there a list of the Bit #s for the Kanalog terminals?
I looked and couldn't find it.
Although I still would have had to ask you for the code even if I did know which # related to which terminal.

Thanks again - Ross

Hi Ross,

You can get the Bit numbers from the Digital IO Screen or here:

Thanks Tom but what I really wanted to know was how those Bit #s relate to the JP terminals on the board.
I am a bit embarrassed to say that I did finally find them, after re-reading it a couple of times, at -
http://dynomotion.com/Help/SchematicsKanalog/ConnectorsKanalog.htm
Under the JP8 description.
What I was looking for was a list with SW# = Bit# but I accept the info is there, if you read it fully. :)
